For many years, Shinigami have speculated on the origins of the Legendary Reaper, and how he went from being a brilliant and admired death god to a strange and twisted mortician living in his own shop.  The Undertaker looks back on the events that changed him so, recalling a time when he went by a different name.  A short story based on one of my head canons.
